I recommend this place if you want accommodation in the city centre. The room was clean and well-lit, with a comfy bed and hairdryer. The breakfast option is also plus for this place. In addition, the staff were also very hospitable, and I would like to mention especially Mr Raju for his friendly and polite attitude.

Situated in the perfect spot next to the city centre and Birmingham New Street station. All the staff were just amazing and so friendly. I’d definitely recommend staying in the Ibis and I will be staying there again next time I’m here!

3 night stay. Excellent position. Easy to get to and from New Street Station and/or Moor Street Station. Pretty much surrounded by restaurants. We ate Chinese, Greek and Indian. Wetherspoons 100 metres away for breakfast. Lovely room (434) and very quiet. Very close to shopping centres and markets. A fair walk to Jewellery quarter and town hall areas.We were a little disappointed by check in. We arrived at 11:45am and asked to have our cases stored. I was then asked if I was a member. I said no but my partner was. I was told to become a member using a QR code and we could check in there and then! I tried but the QR code didn't seem to work so we couldn't check in. This all seemed very strange. If the room was ready why not let us check in especially as my partner was a member? We stored our cases and went out exploring. As we left the lady said come back about 1pm and you can check in. By this time it was 12:15pm!

Walking into this place was strange,never seen a hotel with decor or layout like it,very unusual!Staff were brilliant,check in was fast & efficient,we were in room 433 for a 2 night stay to visit Crufts,this hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Birmingham New Street Station,surrounded by eateries,the aromas were amazing,you won't starve here,the indoor market is at the end of the street too.The room was just big enough,the bathroom a bit tight,but overall it was clean & comfortable & we enjoyed 2 good quiet nights.One problem arose when we asked at reception for 2 extra bath towels & ended up with 2 extra pillows,close,a trip to reception sorted it!

Love Ibis Birmingham. Centrally located, near to New Street railway station. Despite being in the city centre, it’s surprisingly quiet. I had a great night’s sleep. Worth purchasing the breakfast on arrival (approx £3 cheaper). The breakfast staff are super friendly, especially Raju. Super helpful and friendly.
